Bryan Richardson and Dave Nichols are avid outdoorsmen who suffered serious brain injuries….Bryan had a brain hemorrhage in 2020 while Dave suffered a TBI while rock climbing in 2017.   Both had long, grueling recoveries and were fortunate to spend months in rehab at Craig Hospital in Colorado.  With the help of Oregon Adaptive Sports both have been able to ski, bike, kayak and get back into the outdoors where they thrive!  What also brings these 2 young men together is their dedication to helping others.   While at Craig Hospital, Bryan and his family started a fund to help other brain and spinal cord patients get back into their homes with ramps, equipment, and house modifications.  To date the “Going Home Fund” has helped over 200 families!   Dave and his family have been focused on highlighting the need for more resources in the state of Oregon to help TBI survivors recover and live productive lives.  Oregon is almost last in the country in terms of neuro rehab beds and Dave and his family were instrumental in the passing of legislation to strengthen brain injury services and supports.

On Saturday March 16th, 2024, our team will be participating in the 7th annual OAS Ski for All! Oregon Adaptive Sports is a premier adaptive sports organization, creating access to high-quality outdoor experiences for individuals with disabilities.

Every dollar contributed will advance OAS' work in breaking down barriers to the outdoors for individuals with disabilities. This includes obtaining and maintaining state-of-the-art adaptive sports equipment, providing hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships, and training and retaining the world's greatest volunteers!

We believe in the importance of OAS' work and invite you to support my efforts in this year's Ski For All fundraiser.
