On, March 15, 2025 I will be participating in the annual OAS Ski for All fundraiser!
I sure could use your help in getting OAS to their fundraising goals. Back again this year is a limited release of Basso's Roasting Project whiskey barrel-aged coffee. Each donation of $40.00 or more will score you one of only fifteen 12 oz. bags of coffee up for grabs (shipping included). If the whiskey coffee isn't your thing, I'm happy to roast a bag of any coffee you'd like from www.coffeebeancorral.com. Did you find a coffee on a global trip that you can't find in the U.S.? Do you want to experiment with something new? Find the bean at Coffee Bean Corral, let me know your roast preference, and I'll pull it together. Maybe caffeine isn't your thing? I'd recommend a delicious decaf Ethiopian Sidamo that sips so good anytime of day. There's plenty of other decaf coffees on the site to choose from as well.
How it works:Make your donation to Oregon Adaptive Sports, TODAY!
Find me on my social media accounts and send me a private message and include your address. I'll reply with a heartfelt THANK YOU. Coffee will be on your kitchen counter by the first day of Spring. BAM!!! That easy! If you request a special roast, that will take about 2 weeks to order, roast, and ship.
Now, a little bit about this incredible organization that I volunteered with when I lived in Central Oregon...
Oregon Adaptive Sports (OAS) is a leading organization dedicated to creating access to high-quality outdoor experiences for individuals living with disabilities. Every dollar contributed will advance OAS' work in breaking down barriers to the outdoors for individuals with disabilities. Your support can make a real difference! Every contribution helps OAS:
- Obtain and maintain state-of-the-art adaptive sports equipment
- Facilitate top quality experiences from highly trained staff and the world's greatest volunteers
- Provide hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships
- Maximize accessible transportation to programs
- Promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in the outdoors
I believe in the importance of OAS' work and invite you to support my efforts in this year's Ski For All fundraiser. Together, we can sustain critical access to the enjoyment, satisfaction and meaning that comes with year-round outdoor recreation.
Let's keep the OAS stoke going!
Finally, THANK YOU! I can't easily express how impactful this organization is to the athletes that participate, the instructors that work tirelessly long hours and weekends, and to the volunteers that often feel like they get back more than they give. Inclusiveness, redefining normal, community, and the family we choose, and your support are what keep the winds under wings of a program that flys so high.
